SUPA MODERN tells its origin story in large terms. Its About page says the brand was founded "over a decade ago" by engineers and physiotherapists, and that it owns and runs its own manufacturing facility. We found no public record that confirms the founding date, the founders or the factory.

By the brand's own count, the lead pillow holds 85% cross-cut gel memory foam and 15% microfiber, and a side zipper lets you take fill out or put it back until the height suits you. The cover has two faces: a cooling side listed as 50% cooling fiber and 50% polyester, and a soft side of 100% polyester. SUPA MODERN says the cooling layer lowers surface temperature by about 4 to 9°F, a figure that is the brand's claim alone.
Two certifications appear on the product page. CertiPUR-US is claimed for the foam, yet a search of the public CertiPUR-US directory returns no SUPA MODERN listing. The OEKO-TEX Standard 100 number shown, 25.HCN.76685, is valid in the OEKO-TEX lookup, but it belongs to a separate factory, Nantong Sijie Er Home Textile Co., Ltd.
