The company
Who is behind WEEKENDER
Weekender's own terms say the website is operated by Weekender at 1525 West 2960 South in Logan, Utah. That is the same street address Malouf gives for its own website. The WEEKENDER trademark, Reg. No. 4990431, belongs to Sky Bacon Technology Holdings, LLC of Nibley, Utah, which also owns the MALOUF mark.
Trade press calls Weekender a sister brand under Malouf's corporate umbrella, and the records above point the same way. One detail complicates the picture: the mattress warranties on the Weekender site name EverRest US, LLC as the brand's licensee and operator. Those warranties cover mattresses, and the pillow warranty does not repeat that name.
History
WEEKENDER history
The parent brand's story starts in 2003, when Sam and Kacie Malouf created Malouf Home. By Malouf's own account, its first product was a set of Egyptian cotton sheets.
WEEKENDER came later. The mark was filed on September 23, 2015, first used on pillows on March 10, 2016, and registered on June 28, 2016, with a renewal in August 2026. Weekender publishes no founding story of its own, so these filing dates are the firmest timeline available.
In July 2025 Weekender showed a new mattress line at Las Vegas Market. The pillows on its website are memory foam models, and the site sends shoppers to retail stores or to phone and email orders.
Materials
What WEEKENDER pillows are made of
Weekender describes its Gel Memory Foam Pillow as polyurethane memory foam infused with gel, with a pin-hole ventilated core and a removable 100% polyester cover. Its website calls the pillow firmer than down or down alternative and lists it at about 5 inches tall in Standard, Queen and King. A second foam model, the Bamboo Charcoal Pillow, adds a phase-change coating on one side under a cool-feel cover. The ventilated pillow's product page also describes a reversible cover with one cool-touch side. For how solid foam behaves over the years, read our memory foam guide.
On certification, Weekender checks out where it counts for foam. The public CertiPUR-US directory lists Weekender with pillows among its categories, valid through 2026. An OEKO-TEX badge also appears on the product page, but it carries no certificate number, so there was nothing to look up.
Policies
Trial, returns and warranty
Pillows carry a 3-year limited warranty against defects in materials or workmanship under normal use. It covers only the original purchaser in the US or Canada and excludes counterfeit goods and pillows bought from unauthorized retailers, so keep your receipt and buy from a known store. Weekender states no trial period for pillows, and returns follow the policy of whichever retailer sold you the pillow.

Neck pain comes up 843 times, with 44% of those mentions negative, and ongoing pain is a reason to see a clinician rather than switch pillows again. Quality reads far better, at 88% positive across 2,939 mentions. On the reversible-cover pillow the pool is smaller, but the pattern holds, with 48% of 33 firmness mentions negative.

- You want a pillow you can return after a few weeks of sleeping on it.
- You expect a reliably cool surface, since 49% of cooling mentions on the ventilated pillow are negative.
Questions
WEEKENDER questions
Is WEEKENDER the same company as Malouf, from your point of view as a buyer?
Close to it. The WEEKENDER and MALOUF trademarks share one owner, Sky Bacon Technology Holdings, LLC, and both websites list the same Logan, Utah, street address. Trade press calls Weekender Malouf's sister brand, though the mattress warranties name a separate licensee, EverRest US, LLC.
What does the WEEKENDER pillow warranty cover for you?
Three years against defects in materials or workmanship, for the original buyer in the US or Canada. It does not cover a pillow bought from an unauthorized retailer, so check where you are buying. Returns, as opposed to warranty claims, go through the retailer.
Can you wash a WEEKENDER memory foam pillow?
The removable cover is machine washable. Weekender gives no care guidance for the foam core, so wash only the cover unless the sewn-in label says otherwise.
How does a WEEKENDER pillow compare with Tempur-Pedic for you?
The ventilated Weekender pillow costs $29.99 on its lead option and scores 6.6, with value as its strongest part. Our Weekender vs Tempur-Pedic page sets it against the TEMPUR-Cloud, part by part.
