Our read on QUTOOL

QUTOOL puts several pillows near the top of our list: the Firm Shredded Memory Foam Pillow ranks fourth of 53 at 7.8, the Bamboo Rayon Adjustable Pillow third at 7.8 and the cooling model sixth at 7.5. Fit range scores of 8 to 9 reflect fill you can add or remove, and most models cost $19.00 to $28 a pillow, around the $27.49 median for shredded foam. Odor is the complaint that recurs.

The company

Who is behind QUTOOL

QUTOOL is run by Shijiazhuang Qutuo Network Technology Co., Ltd., based in Shijiazhuang, China. The same company owns both US registrations for the QUTOOL mark and runs the seller account, QUTOOL Comfort Products, that sells the pillows. Its website, qutool.com, publishes no street address and centers on memory foam pillows plus lumbar and seat support cushions. Your order and the trademark lead back to one company.

History

QUTOOL history

QUTOOL publishes no founding year or company story, so the trademark record carries the dates. It claims first use of QUTOOL in commerce on July 31, 2017. The stylized mark for cushions and pillows was filed on April 23, 2018, and registered on September 4, 2018, as Reg. No. 5555931.

A second registration, No. 7776082, filed in 2024, was granted to the same owner on April 29, 2025. Beyond those filings there is no public record of milestones, and searches turned up no recalls, lawsuits or regulator actions.

Materials

What QUTOOL pillows are made of

The fill follows one recipe across the range: about 85% cross-cut gel memory foam mixed with 15% microfiber or polyester fiber, zipped inside a cover so you can take fill out or put it back. Covers vary more. On the cooling model, an ice-silk side sold as cooling backs onto a side of 60% polyester and 40% rayon from bamboo, while the double-sided pillow uses 50% silky ice fabric and 50% polyester. Our shredded memory foam guide explains why cut foam can be adjusted when a solid block cannot.

Both certification claims check out, with a catch. CertiPUR-US lists QUTOOL itself in its directory. The OEKO-TEX certificate on the product pages, 18.HCN.42834, is valid but held by the manufacturer, Jiangsu Lebeidi Home Supplies Co., Ltd., not by the brand.

Policies

Trial, returns and warranty

The homepage advertises a 90-night trial with a full refund, but the shipping and returns page gives 30 days from delivery for new items in original packaging, and you pay the return shipping. Which page governs is not stated. A warranty is mentioned, and buyers are sent to a registration page, yet no term or coverage appears there. If the 90 nights matter to you, get them confirmed in writing before you open the box.

Questions

QUTOOL questions

Can you adjust a QUTOOL pillow to your height?

Yes. All five models we score are adjustable: the foam sits inside a zippered cover, so you can remove fill to lower the pillow or add it back. That is why their fit range scores run 8 to 9 out of 10. Our adjustable pillow roundup ranks them against other makers on the same scale.

Does QUTOOL give you 90 nights to try the pillow?

The homepage says 90 nights, but the shipping and returns page gives 30 days from delivery for new items in original packaging, and you pay return shipping. Which page governs is not stated, so ask before you rely on the longer window.

How does QUTOOL compare with SUPA MODERN for you?

Both sell a cooling shredded foam pillow at $20 a pillow. The QUTOOL version scores 7.5 and the SUPA MODERN version 7.9. Our QUTOOL vs SUPA MODERN comparison sets the two side by side.

How do you wash a QUTOOL pillow?

On most models, machine wash only the outer cover, in cold water, and do not wash the foam fill. The Double-Sided Cooling Pillow is listed as whole-pillow machine washable. After unpacking, air the foam for one to two days.
