Our verdict
The WEEKENDER Ventilated Gel Memory Foam Pillow scores 6.6 and ranks 23rd of 53. Value scores 8.9 and buyer satisfaction 7.1, while materials and proof hold it back at 4.0. Buyers split on the two things the maker sells hardest: the medium-firm feel and the cooling.

- You want a cover you can unzip, wash and put in the dryer
- A written warranty matters to you
Think twice if
- You run hot and cooling is the reason you are buying
- You want to change the height
- You expect a full-size pillow: the standard is 25 by 16 inches

Across 41,758 ratings, 66% are five stars and 9% are one or two. Quality draws 2,939 mentions at 88% positive, and support reads 77% positive across 1,174. For a solid pillow you cannot reshape, that support figure is the one that counts.
Two topics divide buyers. Firmness comes up 2,051 times and runs 53% positive, and cooling, the claim at the top of the product page, is 51% positive across 760 mentions. Neck pain is mentioned 843 times, 56% positive. Those are buyer reports, not a treatment, and ongoing pain is a reason to see a clinician.
Fill and feel
One piece of gel foam, drilled for air
WEEKENDER describes gel-infused memory foam with ventilation holes, sold as medium-firm and as contouring to head, neck and shoulders. A solid block of memory foam behaves differently from shredded foam: there is no fill to pull out, so the shape that arrives is the shape you sleep on. Sold as cooling, the pillow relies on the gel and the holes, and the cooling count shows that buyers are far from agreed on how much they help.
Foam brand certification does check out here. The CertiPUR-US directory lists WEEKENDER with pillows among its categories, valid through 2026. Its OEKO-TEX badge on the product page carries no certificate number, so it could not be looked up.
Size and loft
Smaller than the size name suggests
The details table gives the standard as 25 by 16 inches and 5 inches thick, which is shorter and narrower than a standard pillowcase is cut, so expect your case to sit loose. Queen and king are sold too, singly, in pairs, or in four- and six-packs. The pillow ships compressed, and WEEKENDER asks you to give it 24 to 48 hours to expand before you judge the height.
Care
Wash the cover, not the foam
A zippered polyester cover comes off for the washing machine and, the maker says, the dryer. The foam block itself is not washable, which is why care scores 8.0 rather than full marks. A second cover or a pillow protector keeps the foam clean between washes.
Value
An entry price and a three-year warranty
One standard pillow costs $29.99, against a $33.99 median for solid memory foam. If you want to compare it with a far pricier solid foam pillow, Weekender vs Tempur-Pedic does exactly that, and the Coop Sleep Goods Eden Pillow scores 7.3 at $109 a pillow.
WEEKENDER's 3-year limited warranty covers the original purchaser in the US or Canada, on pillows from authorized retailers. There is no trial, and returns follow the store you buy from. Other models sit on the WEEKENDER brand page, and the field is ranked in the best memory foam pillows.
