Its shell is 100% organic cotton, left ivory rather than white, and the maker notes that dark cotton seed specks may show on it.
The listing names GOTS for the cotton, but no certificate could be confirmed, and the OEKO-TEX number on display, 19.HBD.87121, leads to a Bangladeshi clothing company that makes denim.

Low loft for stomach, medium for back, high for side
Pacific Coast maps the lofts to positions: low for stomach sleepers, medium for back sleepers, high for side sleepers, and medium as the starting point if you change positions through the night. The standard is 26 by 19 inches. Not every pairing exists, though: the standard comes in low or medium, the king only in low, and the queen only in high.

Washing asks nothing special: the full pillow goes in the machine, which earns the top care mark. To keep the down inside through those washes, the maker points to a double-stitched piped seam and a down-proof weave.
