Our verdict
The Eden scores 7.3 and ranks ninth of 53. Proof is strong at 10.0 and fit range reaches 8.0, because you set the height yourself. Value drags it down to 3.0: at $109 for one queen, you pay about the price of several well-rated memory foam pillows for the adjustability and the trial.

70% of 15,193 ratings are five stars and 9% are one or two. Adjustability earns the clearest praise: of 788 buyers who bring it up, 89% are positive, and support runs 81% positive across 825.
Cooling is the problem, and it is the feature the Eden is sold on. Of 837 buyers who mention temperature, only 49% are positive. The quotes below come from reviews published on Coop's own website, which the brand moderates; even there, a buyer who owns both Coop pillows notices little difference in temperature, and two long-time owners say the fill itself has changed.
I don’t notice a big difference in comfort between the two, and I didn’t notice much difference in the temperature feel, but I am enjoying my new pillow.
I removed some and it cradles my head perfectly, no fluffing required in the middle of the night.
Then after a while or in certain positions the fill actually feels too hard when compressed, and it isn't a soft pillowy feeling at all. It's also easy for this pillow to get lumpy.
The old filling has a lot of shredded foam, while the new filling has cheaper foam and way more poly fill.
Fill and feel
Gel-infused foam pieces and microfiber behind a gusset
Coop describes a blend of gel-infused memory foam and microfiber inside a gusseted shell meant to give the same support from edge to edge. That gusset, a fabric wall around the sides, is the main build difference from the Coop Original, whose listing names none.
Softness gets 791 mentions at 72% positive. Coop says the gel and microfiber help air move and heat escape, but buyers are split on that point, as the counts above show. Our page on cooling materials sets out what gel, phase-change covers and airflow claims can and cannot promise.
Size and loft
Twenty-seven by seventeen, eight inches tall as shipped
The queen measures 27 by 17 inches with an 8-inch thickness on the listing, and it weighs 3.8 pounds. A spare bag of fill comes in the box. One side sleeper on the brand site used about half of it to bring the Eden level with his Coop Original, so if your shoulders are broad, plan on opening that bag.
Classic, Crescent and Cut-out shapes are offered in queen and king, and an Eden Cool+ version sits above them in price.
Care
A Lulltra cover that unzips for the wash
Coop's polyester and rayon Lulltra cover comes off and washes cold on a gentle cycle, without softener or bleach, then tumbles dry on low once you pin the zipper shut. The insert itself is not listed as washable, so care stops at 8.0. A spill that soaks through reaches an insert you cannot put in the machine, so a pillow protector earns its place here.
Value
A price that only the trial justifies
Solid memory foam pillows on our list have a median price of $33.99. Against that, the Eden at $109 is a hard sell, and the WEEKENDER Ventilated Gel Memory Foam Pillow offers gel foam at $29.99 with a score of 6.6. What Coop adds is the 100-day trial on direct orders and a 5-year limited warranty.
If cooling is your reason to buy, compare the best cooling pillows first. Every other Coop model is on the Coop brand page.

Questions
Questions about the Coop Sleep Goods Eden Pillow
Does the Coop Eden Pillow actually sleep cooler?
Coop sells it as breathable and cooling, but of 837 buyers who mention temperature, 51% are negative. Treat cooling as a hope, not a reason to pay more.
Should you choose the Coop Eden or the Coop Original?
The Original scores 7.6 at $89, the Eden 7.3 at $109. The Eden adds a gusseted edge and gel-infused foam; if that edge matters less to you than price, the Original is the better buy.
Has the Coop Eden fill changed?
One owner who kept the spare fill from a five-year-old Eden says the new fill holds more polyester and less shredded foam, and another long-time Coop owner says her new pillow compacts within a night or two of fluffing. Coop's published specs mention no change, so we cannot confirm it.
