He is a back sleeper and found the fill level perfect as delivered. It does come with an extra bag of oomph.
It is the perfect fill for a side sleeper. And I love how I can add more later. It’s a decently heavy pillow and it doesn’t go flat throughout the night.
At about one year I noticed I was having to pop it in the dryer more and more often to get it to stay fluffed up. Now it won't keep its shape even for one night.
It doesn’t maintain its shape for side sleepers, all of the fill shifting to the top/overhead so it turns into an uncomfortable wedge/triangle

Coop calls the fill Oomph: 76% visco polyurethane foam cut into pieces and 24% polyester gel fiber. Because the pieces move, the pillow takes the shape your head and shoulder press into it, and a second bag of the same fill ships in the box. Coop also warns that a cold room makes the foam feel firmer, so a bedroom that runs cool in winter may call for a smaller load.
Softness draws 4,551 buyer mentions at 71% positive, while support reaches 83% across 3,582. The listing names CertiPUR-US and GREENGUARD Gold; the CertiPUR-US directory confirms Coop at company level, and the GREENGUARD lookup was unreachable when we tried it. Size and loft
Eight inches thick before you take anything out
The queen measures 29 by 19 inches, and the listing gives the thickness as 8 inches, with a king size above it. That is a tall starting point. If you sleep on your stomach, plan to empty a large share of the fill on the first night; if you sleep on your side, keep the spare bag, since it exists to raise the loft later.
Crescent and Cut-out shapes use the same fill, and each is priced above the Original in both sizes.
Care
Wash the cover, fluff the insert
The Lulltra cover, 60% polyester and 40% viscose rayon, unzips and goes in cold water on a gentle cycle, with no fabric softener or bleach, then tumbles dry on low. Coop asks you to pin the zipper shut first so the inner pillow stays put. Only the cover is listed as washable, which holds care at 8.0.
Expect the insert to visit the dryer too. Buyers on the brand site use a dryer cycle to bring the height back, and one of them dates that need to about a year in.

Paying for the trial and the warranty
One queen Original costs $89. The median shredded-foam pillow costs $27.49, and the SUPA MODERN Cooling Shredded Memory Foam Pillow scores 7.9 at $19. What the gap buys is terms: 100 days to send back a pillow bought from Coop directly, and a 5-year limited warranty from a brand founded in 2013.
