Two zippers: one for the foam, one for the cotton
Beckham puts the shredded memory foam inside its own zippered inner case and wraps that in a cotton outer cover that zips off alone. That lets you wash the cover without handling the fill. To lower the pillow, open the inner case and take foam out. The maker's rule of thumb: side sleepers keep the most, back sleepers go medium, stomach sleepers remove the most.
Both faces are the same cotton. Beckham credits the cooling to air pockets in the shredded fill and states plainly that there is no cold-touch side to flip to.
